Ewa Rosiek-Buszko lives and works in Cracow. In 1979 she graduated from the Faculty of Interior Design of Academy of Fine Arts in the same city. Ms. Buszko is a certified teacher. She has been creating handmade paper, fabric and unique ceramics. Ewa Rosiek- Buszko also paints pastel and watercolor pictures. She is fascinated with photography. She is a co-founder and curator of Silesian weaving Przekaz Group (Message Group), operating since 1991. Since 1979, Ms. Buszko is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, the International Association of InSEA and longtime board member and vice president of the Artists Association of Educators of Ceramics and Sculpture. She is a scholar of the Minister of Culture and the Arts and of a prestigious program Artists in Residence ‘03’ in Mino, Japan. Ms. Buszko is the author of the ongoing since 2003 project Paper Gami. Within the project, exhibitions, workshops, and lectures on the art of handmade paper have been organized. She can boast with a long-term cooperation with Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology. She organized and conducted activities for children and young people in the USA and Japan. In her works she uses the experience gained during her art journeys. Ewa Rosiek-Buszko explores different areas of technology, combining them in an unconventional way. With discipline and consistency she carries out both miniature and large-size objects. She implements unique interior design objects that are, among others, stained glass fabric windows. Ewa Rosiek- Buszko presented her works during more than 250 exhibitions in Poland, England, Austria, France, Moldova, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Hungary, Italy, and in a series of exhibitions in the USA and Japan. Works of Ms. Rosiek- Buszko can be found in collections of Central Museum of Textiles, Museum of the History of Katowice, Silesian Museum, Craft Museum in Krosno, Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki Zdroj, Piaristen Kunst Forum in Vienna (Austria), Museum of Paper Mino (Japan), and in private collections at home and abroad.

Ewa Rosiek-Buszko mieszka i pracuje w Krakowie. W 1979 roku uzyskała dyplom na Wydziale Architektury Wnętrz Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie. Nauczyciel dyplomowany. Tworzy autorskie papiery ręcznie czerpane, tkaninę i ceramikę unikatową. Maluje pastele oraz akwarele. Fascynuje się fotografią. Współzałożycielka i kuratorka działającej od 1991 roku śląskiej, tkackiej „Grupy Przekaz”. Od 1979 roku w Związku Polskich Artystów Plastyków. Członek Międzynarodowego Stowarzyszenie InSEA oraz wieloletni członek zarządu i wiceprezes Stowarzyszenia Artystów Pedagogów Ceramiki i Rzeźby. Stypendystka Ministra Kultury i Sztuki. Stypendystka prestiżowego programu Artists in Residence "03"w Mino (Japonia). Autorka trwającego od 2003 roku projektu „Paper Gami”. W ramach projektu organizowane są wystawy, warsztaty i wykłady dotyczące sztuki ręcznego czerpania papieru. Wieloletnia współpraca z Centrum Sztuki i Techniki Japońskiej Mamggha. Zajęcia dla dzieci i młodzieży prowadziła w USA i Japonii. W swojej twórczości wykorzystuje doświadczenia zebrane w trakcie podróży artystycznych. Porusza się w obszarach różnych technologii łącząc je w sposób niekonwencjonalny. Z dyscypliną i konsekwencją realizuje zarówno miniaturowe, jak i wielkoformatowe obiekty. Realizuje unikatowe obiekty będące wyposażeniem wnętrz, między innymi płócienne witraże. Prezentowała prace w ponad 250 wystawach w Polsce, Anglii, Austrii, Francji, Mołdowy, Niemczech, Szwajcarii, Ukrainie, Węgrzech, Włoszech oraz w cyklu wystaw w USA i Japonii. Prace w kolekcjach: Centralnego Muzeum Włókiennictwa, Muzeum Historii Katowic, Muzeum Śląskiego, Muzeum Rzemiosla w Krośnie, Muzeum Papiernictwa w Dusznikach Zdroju, Piaristen Kunst Forum w Wiedniu (Austria), Museum of Paper Mino (Japonia) oraz w kolekcjach prywatnych w kraju i zagranicą.
